Tupperware/My Points 800pts

If you received the BonusMail from Tupperware this week for 800pts, there's a cookbook for $2.29 with shipping of $2.49=$4.78 for 800 pts. You can also add the Cascade Plastic booster for $1.00 more.

Golf, do you have a link to the cookbook? I can't find it. Or, an exact name?
Thanks!

I don't understand this "deal" at all. I value MyPoints at 0.50 cents each so paying $4.78 for points worth $4.00 isn't so great.

I only got one book. Theu seem tp be out.

AS for valuation, I value mine at a higher figure than .50, since I get gift cards for the points . Even at .50, you can order an ecert for $10 and then get 2 books with thw cert. That gives you 2400 points or $12 for a $10 outlay.

It could be because other people don't value them as low as that, especially considering their redemption value. Considering that the value per point for, say, a $10 gas card is .0071, then getting them at a value of .0059 isn't such a bad deal.

When you add to the fact that you're getting merchandise *and* the points on top of that, it works out to be even better.

Do we get 800 points for each order, or is it only for the first order? Seems a little too good to be true, but that's what FT is here for.

EACH transaction - however there seems to be some difference of opinion as to whether "monthly" means per-calendar-month or 30 days between transactions?

Don't forget to click the very bottom of the order confirmation to have the blue popup box come up. Where it says "Congratulations MyPoints Members! Click here to receive your points". I nearly missed that. Grandma should enjoy the cookbook and plastic booster. $5.78 total.

Is there a Mypoints guru out there who can answer the earlier question and another. Perhaps a forum guru can save some time querying Mypoints:

1. What is the waiting period between the Tupperware 800 point bonuses, 30 days or 1 month?

2. What is the waiting period between AOL 2000+ point bonus trial periods from the date of successful cancellation? (remember to repeat three times when you call AOL 'I want to cancel today! )

Thanks!

My totally unofficial, nonguru, non moderator viewpoint (What I'm saying is don't blame me if I'm wrong. )is that what drives the limitation on Tupperware's 800 points is the link that takes you to Tupperware. I do not believe that Mypoints is keeping track of when you use the link, just that you used that link.

I have made multiple purchases and have gotten into the habit of noting the two digit number in the URL (currently in the low 50's). As long as the link URL has not been used by me before I always get my points. (After clicking the bold type at the bottom of the page, of course.)

In any month there can be more than one "active" URL, meaning that you can get the 800 points for more than one purchase during the month. BTW, email offiers may be different.

Hope that this helps!
