Rutdog,

I am on the road right now and having problems accessing email (where the gift certificate codes are stored). I'll email you with them when I get home on Thursday night.

I bought a $1 GC last night and the 800 points are there this morning. Yippee.

Cool...thanks for the tips folks. I just did the $1 GC, and followed the link at the bottom of the order to claim MyPoints. I got the pop up that said "Congratulations, You Just Earned 800 Points". I'll post if it actually shows on my account tomorrow.

Thanks again all

Just tried it also. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

Thanks, everyone, for the gift certificate advice! And I thought the swizzle-sticks and 800 pts. for $2.99 was a great deal!

3-6-03: Just checked mypoints account, the 800 points are there....the $1.00 Ecert worked, even though it says not elig for Ecert purchases.

The pop-up window says the 800 points are available once every 30 days. Hmmm....great way to get points and accumulate gift certs to purchase those swizzle sticks for a gift !!!!

wahoo Mar 6, 2003 9:50 am

Ordered the $1 GC yesterday and the points showed up overnight!! no problem!!

Already converted to HHonors points. Thanks a bunch!

That just means you won't get a $1 GC for $.85 (15% off). You can only get merchandise for 15% off.

tegt Mar 6, 2003 1:47 pm

What is the product code for the swizzle sticks?

Ummm. Right http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/redface.gif. I see that the post where I made this misinterpretation was posted at about midnight. Guess I should have been in bed instead.

This offer worked nicely for me. Tupperware happens to be a fine product as well.
