Marc, keep pushing the "refresh" key until it appears.

mtacchi Mar 1, 2003 8:36 pm

TY. Works great now!!!

Thanks Artsygal great tip to get the points for 1$ http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

OK, it's just a few hours after the last post, and I can't find the 800 points offer anywhere.

I've refreshed, I've looked at all "home" offers, I've looked up QuickList. Everything Tupperware I see says just 2 points/$.

Am I missing something?

I too tip my hat to Artsygal. Welcome aboard and thank you.

paradocs Mar 1, 2003 11:14 pm

Rut Dog: Right now I can see the banner add on the Shopping main page. It is a verticle add on the right side that says earn 800 points. I think I also saw it on the home page. Don't give up!

Thanks Artsygal for the great tip!

mtacchi Mar 1, 2003 11:52 pm

Keep refreshing RUTDOG. Sometimes I had to do it 10+ times to get the right ad.

Good Luck.

mtacchi Mar 2, 2003 12:22 am

Just at my points and the "800 Tupperware offer" popped up as an ad. Having already done it once, but hungry for points I thought I would try again. Got another 800 points,

HOWEVER, when I checked out my $1.00 Gift Cert, had a $1.55 shipping discount, making my total cost -.55????

I'm keen to see if my CC will have a refund on it!!

Rut Dog Mar 2, 2003 12:41 am

Thank you, paradocs and mtacchi, for the encouragement. And kudos to newbie of the month, artsygirl for sharing that info she found on that other board.

I got 800 each for me and the Mrs.

Also found out you can't pay for a gift cert with a gift cert (of course), but once you try to do so beware: the only way I could get the payment by gift cert out of their head was to delete my cookies.

My experience was a little like mtacchi's, but I couldn't check out. Here's how it went for y'all who love details:

Oh well. In a few months, we'll have enough certs to actually splurge for the twizzle sticks.

Just what are twizzle sticks, anyway?

The 800 points posted overnight. So, no problems with the $1 Tupperware gift certificate idea!

Would anyone like two $1 Tupperware gift certificates? Email if you do.

I did not want swizzle sticks or containers, so I skipped the 800 point offer. BUT, $1 GC I can go for. However, is the 800 point offer still available? I cannot find it at mypoints. Thanks!

    mtacchi Mar 3, 2003 1:32 pm

Offer ended last night at midnight. I was half way through a transaction when it did. When I finished and hit the mypoints button, it said it had expired http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

    Spent a $1 for nothing
