idine--register that replacement card
I had been wondering where some idine miles were. idine has usually been consistent in posting my miles. Then, I realized that I had gotten an replacement AmEx card. The number was changed slightly for security purposes, and I had not registered the new card. Talk abour my bad!
The moral of the story is be sure to think about idine when credit card numbers are changed!

I had a new card issued when the old one expired. No number change, just the usual replacement every few years.
Idine's system doesn't update the expiry date automatically, which is fair enough. However, they don't even bother to inform you when the only card you have with them has expired! When I realised that the old expiry date was on their system still, I found there was no way to edit the expiry date and yet I couldn't add the same card again because it had the same card number! I emailed them and they updated the expiry date for me and, after I sent in copies of receipts, credited my account appropriately for missed dining.

2. No.
I have done this in the past. I do not know if this still works, but I linked an extra credit card of mine at one point to my sister's mileage account. Worked like a charm. Has anyone had luck with this recently? It might come in handy with the NW FFF promotion, where you need 5 partner credits, and you can earn multiple credits from iDine.
