Points dot Com Troubled?
Hello!
During the FlyerTalk makeover the three members of my family all joined Points.com. Ever since the points.com site hasn't been able to find our AA and AS FF accounts, and the site itself has some operational quirks.
Do they have a history of these sorts of problems?

When I first signed up with points.com I entered my America West and AA numbers, intending to do a transfer to AAdvantage. Then I got an email from points.com saying they couldn't access my AA account. I emailed them immediately and they told me it was a problem on AA's server and all was well and to wait a couple of days before making the transfer. I did just that and the transfer went through fine. It was my free transfer. I felt reluctant to give them my AA PIN #, and am thinking of changing it just to be on the safe side. My husband's account transfer went through fine, too. Have you emailed them about the problem?

The AA transfer showed up, but I still can't get Alaska Air or clickrewards to transfer...glitches I guess. Advice- keep trying or remove and start all over..it's tough!

I now get the following error when I try to log in to my Points.com account:
"error
The following error(s) happened when processing your request!
go back to previous step"
I would be nice if they told me what the error actually was! If I click on "go back to previous step" it just sends me back to the login screen.

None of my family's three Points.com accounts work.
My theory is that AS is blocking Points.com from accessing their site. No evidence on that, however.

To allow points.com to access your AS account, log in to your "pointsfolio" and then click on AS. The next screen has a link to request a special password for points.com to use. This password is not the same as the one you use. Once you enter this special password into your points account, in a day or so, your AS balance will show up on the folio.

Similar experience to Nanook. My transfer from AS to AA went fine. My wife's transaction is hung up "pending". AS miles had previously shown just fine in points.com. Two emails to points.com, no response. AS account shows the miles subtracted, nothing in AA, of course.
