mypoints marriott certs

I may switch from going for Alaska certs to Marriott certs at mypoints after the award levels change. The Alaska certs are generic (no name or account number on them). Does anyone know if the same is true for Marriott certs as I will want to direct the points to a few different accounts. Thanks for you input.

Yes, they are generic.

Judging by your profile, I wonder if you have a USA address. If it matters, the certificate I received only had blanks for Name, Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Daytime Phone Number and MR No.; no reference to country.

So, are you selecting a reward that need not be used by yourself only?
