Contination of Milesbar CONGA!

Looks like this could be a great program -- The original Conga seems to have stopped with dscussions taking over.

The way I see it is -- what have you got to lose it's FREE. Let's keep the Conga going and please use my ID number -- I was skiped fom the original.

I received an e-mail from milesbar today stating that my cc was going to be charged for my platinum membership. Fine, but has anyone seen the milesbar yet? Should we be paying a monthly fee with no milesbar or any clue when we will see it? Any input would be appreciated.

I wrote an email to Sue Chenoweth at Milesbar about this very topic telling her I am inclined to have the charge(s) reversed if more DETAILED information is not provided.

I will post her reply to me once received...

Moltmans and abercrombie4me... you guys are right. This is the same problem that I face.

I wrote to milesbar and got a reply from this Sue C lady saying that the bar will not be ready until end of March or April. I asked her if why they will charge my cc until then and she said that now is a good way to get referal!!!!! that just sucks... I'm really tempted to quit this whole scam!!! I have probably been charged for 1 month already. what do you guys think?

I have not received ANY reply from the email I sent to Sue Chenoweth. I am now fully leaning toward cancelling. At first it seemed worth it, but the more I think about it, the less I am comfortable about their preparedness to deliver what they say they will.

How can I justifiably request referrals when I can make no "sales pitch" to them? I have NO experience with Milesbar! Now is the time to get referrals....hahahahha!

I think it's time to cancel and reverse the charges on my credit card.

I'm only gold, but they've never asked to charge me. Can you guys swap from Plat. to Gold instead?

I've been getting referals, and no charges. ^_^

Hello all....

I finally received an email response from Sue Chenowyth. I actually sent a second, detailed email to her requesting that my account be cancelled, and that the previous charges be reversed. I expressed to her my disappointment with the milesbar not being rolled out, and that I was essentially paying for something that was nonexistent.

Her reply to me was that the billing department would no longer be charging my account the monthly fee. She even went so far as to say that she "managed to keep [my] elite platinum account [open] at this time at no monthly fees".

From the context of the rest of her reply, I guess this means my account will remain open, but I won't be charged until the milesbar is rolled out and I can begin to see the benefits of the program.

Has anyone else received such a response??

Just as a suggestion in case a flurry of emails are sent to Sue asking her to do the same: please don't reference me or that it was done for someone else!! Simply express an extreme lack of confidenc in the program and that you won't continue paying for something that you aren't getting.

Good luck to everyone else --- hopefully they will do the same for you.

abercrombie4me,

I got the same response from Sue C. The billing dept stop charging me and they kept my Platinum acct.

I have to check my CC to see if they have actually charge me. Can't trust them...
