Simply thinking it was a 5 point click through I didn't initially pay much attention. I went back a few days ago and saw that there was a 1000 point offer attached. Print the coupon and then buy a Pledge product at Walmart, then fax in a copy of the MyPoints e-mail and a copy of the receipt to a fax number provided and you will be credited 1000 MyPoints. A pretty good offer.
I faxed in the documentation yesterday and had an e-mail in the inbox this morning indicating that it had been processed. I could see the pending points out there. It looks like there is only a 5 day pending period on the points. The offer expires 7/12 and it looks like you have to fax in the documentation within 10 days of the offer expiring. Not sure if you can make the buy after the expiration, but I would suspect so. The expiration probably only applies to being able to print the coupon. P.s. If you want more than one coupon, you can print up to two per computer. Though only one 1000 point offer per account. I went to 3 different Walmarts in 2 different town in my area, and all of them were sold out of the 128oz Raid Max bug spray-- but they did have the 30oz bottles, which won't earn the 1,000 MyPoints. |

There's also been an offer for $4 off Raid Max 128ox bug spray that earns 1000 MyPoints if redeemed at Walmart.

Anyone has experiences in redeem for United Miles?
I have just enough points to redeem for the 5K United miles - this seems the most appealing option for me.
Anyone has experiences in redeeming UA miles? How long it normally takes? |
Got another 1000 point deal for glade plug-ins.

We are fairly new to the MilagePlus program. What would those 5000 MP points be worth? I know that 10,000 can get a one way ticket in some cases. Would this be better than say a $75 gift card redemption that the same amount of points could get?

I have a comment regarding living in the US. I just tried to sign up for MyPoints to get the 750 MileagePlus Miles but was denied. MyPoints CS told me it was because I'm verifying through an IP address not in the US or Canada and the program is only available to US and Canadian residents. I tried to explain that I am a US resident on a RTW trip and won't be back in the US for a long time. They were adamant that there is no way around the foreign IP address as residence verification.
Anyone have any luck with a similar situation? Thanks. |

You could also find a US Based Proxy server and do the sign up. Just do a search and dozens will pop up. |

I just looked back for that one and see that I got an e-mail for it on 7/6. Of course this one requires a bigger spend. It looks like the Raid Max 128oz is about $16, with the $4 off it comes out to about $11. The Pledge only cost about $3.75 after coupon and taxes. THough if it is a product you needed anyway, then it is an easy 1000 points. Of course it only works if they have it in stock.
Wasn't going to go for the Glade on its own, but then got the bonus e-mail and for 2,000 points couldn't resist. I might use the free candle. Anyone need oil plug-in's? |

I didn't read too closely I guess and purchased the $7.97 Raid Max, which I assume isn't 128 oz. Faxed my receipt etc. last week and points have posted a-okay. I also received 2 e-mails for Pledge and when I was faxing my second receipt, noticed the words "points can only be earned once". Oops, well of the 3 I actually do use the Pledge.

For the Glade product, I actually just bought a Glade Plugins Scented Oil Warmer, which costs only $1.97. I couldn't use the coupon, but I will see if I still get the 1000 points. I haven't faxed the receipt in yet. The offer only indicated that one had to buy a Glade Plugins Scented Oil product. The coupon is there to get you to buy the featured product, but I see no reason why my purchase shouldn't qualify. |
Yes the coupon worked on the smaller bottle, RaidMax. The Glade coupon was very hard for me to read (printed it 3 times), so did the best I could to decipher it.
Glad we can post here without getting admonished about MyPoints being of less value than other points/miles/cash back avenues. I typically use airline portals or cash back for online shopping but do like MyPoints for offers like this, Lancome, and the restaurant gift cards. Will redeem for Marriott gift cards and I am happy with MyPoints for that. |

I was previously ignoring the surveys, but have started going in to those and have found that more times than not I do not qualify. Which is fine by me. I would rather have a quick 10 or 15 points instead of 50 points for 20 to 30 minutes of my time. I have found if you indicate that you "Prefer Not to Answer" for questions related to income or ethnicity, it usually ends up in not qualifying. |

How much "value" you can get from the miles depends on a lot of factors, your existing account balance, your travel patterns, and most importantly, how you normally use your miles - i.e. what is your goal in gathering miles. For some of us, our miles dont go to "waste" for domestic coach redemption. They go to international long haul redemption in partner airlines' business or first class flights - The goal is not to save cash here and there on domestic travel, but to have a very nice travel experience that paying with real cash can be very expensive. |

That is the only reward I redeem. It takes a few weeks in my experience, but I have never had an issue with redemption in the 6 times I have redeemed for United miles.
Will update the thread with the final outcome. |

I was shocking able to find a Walmart employee working in the pesticide aisle, and asked him if Walmart stocked the 128oz Raid Max. His response was that Walmart didn't [he was in charge of stocking the Raid Max/pesticides]. So that's assuring to know it worked. :)

Thank you very much for the info. Good to know that while it is slow, you do not have to actually follow up.
Will update the thread with the final outcome. Since having headaches with the United Mileage Plus shopping mall, I treat MyPoints as my "work-around" MileagePlus earning mall. :) |
DW and I both submitted two receipts yesterday for purchases from the promo. Both of us received 6,000 points. Both of us are mystified. Neither of us is calling.

Is anyone else having a problem getting their faxes to go through? I am having issues, it seems that there is a busy signal. I guess this has grown in popularity. It would have been better had they given us an e-mail address to send these to instead of arcane faxing.

Did you fax from the same fax machine? My DW and I also have an account, would there be any issue faxing documentation from the same fax number. I notice when you get the e-mail back confirming the points posting that it shows the fax number. I would expect an issue, but don't want to cause any issues posting the points.

The 4000 Bonus Points Already Posted
FAXed in yesterday (to the 415 area code number) ,and today I have four 1000 point line items credited all pending until 7-23-12.
The funny thing is, all four say "RAID bonusmail make a purchase". But there was an almost zero waiting period to post in contrast to the terms on the e-mail. |

Thanks for the info. There appears to be two different phone numbers, one with an 800 area code, and another with a 415. I was getting busy on 415 many times. I tried the 800 even though it wasn't what was on the bottom of the Glade offer. I will see if the points post.

We did. I can't imagine that would be an issue, since it's all computerized (i.e., No person is going to go through the docs and compare numbers). We also only sent in two product receipts each, not all four or five, or whatever the number was.

The two transactions that we have had post are for the Glade and Pledge, Each one indicates the actual product listed in the account listing. Perhaps you have four all indicating RAID because you faxed all receipts at the same time? |

New Kimberly-Clark Offer
There is a new offer for Cotttonelle products. Buy flushable wipes and get 750 points. Buy both wipes and toilet paper and get 2,000. Same fax redemption.
You can only print each coupon once per computer, unlike the past offers where you could print each one twice. Edited to add: I think the coupon did print twice on the one PC. I just pulled them from the printer and they were there. |

I tried to go to our other laptop to print a second set of coupons (before I realized I had two sets); however, the bathroom tissue coupon indicates it is expired. Though I could still print the wipes coupon. I found another coupon through a coupon website that links to the Cottonelle website where you can print a $1.50 coupon off of the two product when bought together. Though that coupon indicates it is for a 12 count bathroom tissue where the one through the MyPoints offer is off of an 18 count package.
I had a similar issue today with the Pledge/Glade/Raid bonus offer. I was able to print the Glade and Raid coupons, but I noticed my printer didn't print the Glade one. When I went back to reprint it, it said I'd exceeded the number of coupons for this offer. Now I'm not sure if it's because I missed my window, or because I redeemed a similar Glade offer a couple weeks ago, and MyPoints considers this a double-dip. Any thoughts? Does this mean I'll have to try to count the "old" Pledge purchase toward the 4,000 point trifecta of Pledge/Glade/Raid? |

I believe these coupons print through coupons.com and you can only print each twice per computer. I would just go ahead and submit your prior receipt if you haven't already been credited with 1000 points from the Pledge purchase as it is only one points credit per offer. It should work fine. There is also no requirement in the points offer that you actually use the coupon, you can just buy the product also, sans coupon. |
What's up with the survey today that doesn't let you continue from the question? Lame...

Since 12,500 is a one way award that could be worth up to $400-$500 depending upon destination just under half that could be worth around $200 so yes, for those reason I'd suggest this award is a better value than a dining GC though that's only MHO. My pet peeve with MyPoints is I rarely get surveys despite having my setting set wide open and the ones I do receive and click on almost as soon as they come in I get the 'did not qualify' or 'survey closed' response and am stuck at 700 points. I seem to be doing better at E-rewards though that wasn't always the case. |

My guess is that the coupon links in the last several e-mails are all the same. I noticed I got four different Pledge e-mails. The first was dated 6/23 with an expiration date of 7/7 and the last (the combined 4000 point offer) had an expiration of 7/25. I think all they did was bump out the expiration date of the offer and none of the subsequent ones were new offers for the 1000 points for any individual product.
