There are actually three. The first for 1000 points, the second and third for 1750 each.

Is anyone else having problems with surveys? I have noticed that when I get disqualified based on demographics, instead of reverting back to the home page and getting 10 points, the screen times out or stalls until I am forced to refresh and I get nothing.

Here are the dates that I received the e-mails:

1,000 pts - e-mail received 9/14, purchase by 9/28
1,750 pts - e-mail received 9/27 purchase by 10/11
1,750 pts - e-mail received 10/11 purchase by 10/25

My Mother received the same e-mails on the same day.

I was just looking at my account. Since I am now a "Gold" member - it looks like they are giving a bonus once you get to a certain level of purchases on shopping points. It says:

Gold Member Bonus

Your Next Bonus Goal 500

Shopping Points Starting 10/1/2012: 0

Shopping Points Needed For Your Next Goal 500

I always use My Points for my Office Depot orders. I keep them around $100, which is 1,000 points. I need to order in the next couple of weeks, so I will report back what happens.

This last Huggies offer states on the coupon that it is for Huggies Little Movers Slip-Ons. The Wal-Marts I've checked only have that particular type in the large boxes of 24 or so. Is that the only size the Slip-Ons come in? Has anybody just bought the "regular" Little Movers and received points on the purchase? Thanks very much.

Haven't done that, but the package size we bought is rather small and only costs $8.97 or something like that.

shelbydogmom Oct 23, 2012 7:33 pm

Thank you dioxide45. Guess that means I need to hit a few other Wal-Marts to find the small packs or up my investment. The large packs are almost $25, so I'm not certain that makes a lot of sense :)

KathinJax Oct 23, 2012 8:46 pm

shelbydogmom. Make sure that you also print out the $2 coupon from Wal-mart (print twice). It brought the cost of the small package to $7.96 for me.

It's almost 30 days since my OpenSky purchase, but still no points pending. Should I be worried and contact them?

Same situation here. They won't do anything for you within 30 days. I will probably contact them some time after that. Nothing to worry about though. It has been confirmed that the deal is valid.

antonen Oct 26, 2012 6:57 am

There were reports of points posting alrwady, that's why I'm getting nervous.

samineni3 Oct 26, 2012 5:51 pm

Mine posted 10 days back for opensky promotion (2 orders worth 220 each)

samineni3 Oct 27, 2012 1:03 am

Did anyone do blackbuster and netflix promos with one month free trail for 3k each. If so how long it took to post points in your acct and when to cancel.
thanks in advance

My points from my opensky purchase did not post after 30 days. They wrote back and said that since I tried to verify my account while I was overseas, I would have to reverify or the points wouldn't post. I told them that I had tried 5 or 6 times, but it wouldn't work. I had even filed a customer service request stating I was unable to get the verification to work. The reply to that customer service request said I would not have any trouble with my points posting.

I feel like I am getting run around in a circle now and am losing hope that I will get my open sky points.

P.S. Their customer service is below par with the email only option. Takes up to 24 hours to respond to every email. They should be able to respond much faster if they want to have an email only option.

No complaints here with their CS. They always respond to me within 24 hours (the email usually arrives in the middle of the night). This is much faster than the response time for most loyalty programs.

I admit I am annoyed with how often I have to ask to get the points I earn. I also have not gotten the points from OpenSky. But I have no worries that they will credit them after I ask.

samineni3 Oct 28, 2012 10:45 pm

Hi maui

Did you get 30 day free trail as indicated in mypoints website. I see a charge for 7.99$ on my CC eventhough got an email stating that netflix will charge after free trail;)

To be honest I have no idea. Lol.

I churn this Netflix trial fairly frequently in other programs also and sometimes I get charged, sometimes I don't, and then sometimes they "hold" $7.99 and then give it back. But in all instances the miles or points are worth way more than the $7.99 so I'm ok with it.

samineni3 Oct 29, 2012 1:33 am

My family member has a mypoints acct with his united mileage plus number associated with it. Will he able to redeem mypoints for united miles for me (with my information)?. Thanks

bmatt Oct 29, 2012 1:15 pm

I found their BBB website here

I asked a similar question back in post #395. I e-mailed MyPoints customer service to ask. The answer was No. United will look for the name on the MyPoints and MilagePlus account to match. I also know for a fact that if you already have your MP number associated with your MyPoints account, if your family member attempts to put your number in on their account when redeeming for the reward, they will get an error message that the MP number is already associated with another members MyPoints account.

samineni3 Oct 29, 2012 9:45 pm

Thanks for your clarification. My MP number was not associated with any mypoints account. However my family members acct was

At least your account still remains open, so you still have hope of receiving your points. Apparently accessing one's account from overseas is a big No-No. This is the reason MyPoints gave me for recently closing my account, ensuring that I would never receive my points on the OpenSky promotion. I asked for further clarification, but MyPoints has failed to respond to my additional inquiries.

Try posting on their Facebook wall. Maybe they will be more willing to help you there.

I have been overseas for almost 2 years and the only problem has been some of the emails (Office Depot, etc) come up as unable to display or load. Many reward redemptions and other activities without incident.

They closed my account but I got them to reopen it. I clicked on send me a new password and that allowed me to verify my account at the same time. I received my points finally.

Anyone have any information on the double points on all purchases email you get from them when you open an account. That would mean 100 points per dollar at open sky right now.

Does anyone know how long its gonna take to post points for blockbuster 3k promotion. Thanks

When I did it quite a while ago, it didn't post within 30 days and I had to ask for the points.

Thanks. That did cross my mind, but was expecting (perhaps naively?) that a simple cordial exchange of emails would solve the matter.

I've also had my account open for several years with no problems up to now, though I admit I've made only occasional use of it. My MyPoints account was fine when I made my OpenSky purchase (placed while overseas). Because of the sudden and coincidental closure, I did have the suspicion (perhaps unfounded) that the additional work needed to post the OpenSky purchase points brought to light the fact that the order was placed, and account accessed, while overseas (and meaning that MyPoints does track IP addresses).

After I received their first and only (and brief) reply concerning the reason behind the closure of my account, I checked their Terms of Service and it does state that "MyPoints reserves the right to prevent access to the Program and the MyPoints website from IP addresses outside of the U.S. and Canada." Apparently to the point of closing one's account.

Perhaps if MyPoints would reply to my emails (beyond the "We have received your email and have passed it on to the MOPS team"), I would have further insight into what has and is happening.

If that's the case, then there's still hope that I might be able to reopen my account and receive the points. Thanks.

I've contacted CS and they told me there are some issues with tracking orders and that i need to send them a copy of my order. I've done it but still no points. :(

Mypoints.com slow in awarding points than before. My Huggies second 1750 points are not posted yet and got generic email to wait for 30 days.

Chat with opensky, they seem to be more responsive and can get you your
mypoints to post in 48 hours.

I agree, go to opensky website and use the online chat feature. Just ask them to forward your order information to MyPoints. I got my points about 24 hours later. They are pending for 3 days instead of the usual 30 days.

Shoot, my MileagePlus linked to old mypoints account

My points just posted from the OS deal. But can't redeem for UA as it appears that I linked my UA account to an old mypoints (didn't know I had one or would have used it!). In any case, do you guys have any advice as to how I can transfer the points to UA? At present, I am thinking of opening a new MileagePlus and then then merging. Is this totally against the rules?

just use your old pre-merger United number instead of the new one that came from Continental.

econjon Nov 14, 2012 1:01 am

Ok, thx. Just tried it. Will let you know what turns up.

TrojanHorse Nov 14, 2012 4:13 am

Before I run into this issue about the old UA number, is there a way to go in and change it before the next redemption?
