I suspect it's end of quarter ad spending and things get thin on July 1 again, so take advantage now if so inclined.

Mypoints needed for 5000 United redemption?
 

The last time I redeemed Mypoints for 5000 United miles, it as 12100, but I now have 13000 Mypoints and still get an error message that I don't have enough Mypoints. Anyone know the current redemption requirement for 5000 United miles?

There's some chatter upthread about an adjustment last fall. If memory serves, the new ownership changed it so there's not much difference between 2x2500 for 6900 and 1x5000 United redemptions. While a bit of a devaluation if you used to wait for 5K, Protege doesn't offer discounts for larger redemptions at Swagbucks either, so I think they were just standardizing some things rather than actively planning something ominous with the program.

I do not see United MP miles as a reward at MyPoints. Is it still? If so, how do I locate it?

I believe I can expect ~ 1 5pt. win / week, like in the last few times (more than that would be fun, but...)

On another note, can you people unravel this?

In the last 10 days or so I've only have able to get into 6 6-pt. video playlists under the "Featured" section. If I click any other playlist it goes to "the one that got away" and into those 6 playlists and ONLY THOSE.

Is there a way I can unravel the other playlists before asking Customer Service? They've been on the slow side, > a week to reply , last couple of times I've gone to them...

The parent company will claim that the videos and ncrave/ngage activities are provided by a third party that does its own anti-fraud vertification and there's nothing that anyone can do other than wait for the videos repopulate again. Some users report some success with changing browsers or using an incognito window.

If you have the ncrave videos, the Baltimore baseball slide shows are on a short timer and you get points a lot more effectively than the other video section. The 5 point brown loaf of bread and 3 point foil balls ncraves that have been showing up the past few days are also pretty time-economical.

Today's Apple is in Land's End Business Outfitters. No points for me two days in a row but hopefully someone else will have some luck.

For me it was on the Lands' End page (not business outfitters page). Maybe it makes a difference?
