To Avoid a Fee, Do I Need to Print Non-Boarding Pass Document?

Upon checking in online, I was given a document that is not a boarding pass and told that I need to get a boarding pass at the airport and to get it stamped.

Do I need to print this boarding pass beforehand to avoid paying a fee? Or is printing it not needed since its not a real boarding pass?

I’ve not come across this before, I suspect there is a visa check required. Print out the document and take it with you to the checkin desk, there should be no charge because it was the airline who failed to produce the BP at checkin. Let us know how you get on 👍🏻
