No. Standard A320, operating as a 319 with 3 FAs. Of course for TP that also meant "no service due to operational difficulties" (read = lazy FAs and stupid union regs).

Now we're talking about "seating capacity" ... I guess you can wiggle out of this by blocking some seats, thus reducing seating capacity, which is probably what happened here and is subject to interpretation in each EU country's legislation

One of the big reasons for Ryanair to go with the Max 8 over a longer variant and specifically the MAX200 variant is that for the 198 seats they don't need an additional FA - 1 per 50 pax is enough.

Ah TAP in the questionable period where they "understaffed" the flights, yeah I am not sure how they wrangled that. But there was some kind of industrial action if I remember rightly, so they did probably file for an exemption for each flight.

Yeah, there would be a very good cost reason to keep it with 4 FAs for FR.

Flights operated by the MAX can now be identified from the seat map (35 instead of 33 rows)

Exclamation

Question for experienced Ryanair flyers - we have been allocated all 6 seat seats across Row 29 for an upcoming STN-TFS leg on the MAX 8200. We have 2 children and one infant on lap in the group of 7 (inc infant). The Ryanair chat person said we wouldnt be allowed this row as deemed an exit row which is not allowed with children/infants. She said she would allocate us row 30 instead but when i check my app she has allocated us row 29 with adults in seats 29A and 29F (Extra legroom)

Once we get to the airport will we be likely moved to other seats or is all of Row 29 not deemed an exit row? If there is a chance of this i would get back in contact with Ryanair to be moved to a different row to ensure we are sat together and not moved last minute

Thanks
