Just saw the advert for this on BBC1?

I wonder if the BBC could turn this into "Why hate Ryanair ....when you should hate BA instead"; i.e. BA bashing rather than Ryan Air bashing

The beeb actually gave ryanscare a bit of a bashing on Thursday nights one show as well !

No. The dreadful quasi-teenage presenter did badly and let MOL off the hook. Not once were the BBC able to substantiate any of the (admittedly nebulous) claims.

As he said with the broadest smile on his face, he didn't mind what they were saying as long as they were discussing Ryanair.

No, it won't promote LiarAir either. It will similarly dress both LiarAir and BA down and promote VS.

They certainly aren't expecting a brighter impression from the programme.

Those documents do make for good reading. I enjoyed the RyanAir emails, too the point. Shame that she probably now needs to change her mobile number as that and her email address are in the public domain.

Even without wearing my Vulcan ears- ( apologies- just seen the latest Star Trek film) -why would I feel hate towards a service provider?

Ryanair hasnt done me any harm -and I've used their services a fair few times.

If they did me any harm I would just look at getting even-if I could.

I realise that some businesses like to encourage an emotional response to their offering-I don't mind a spot of Marmite now and again-but I dont have quite the emotional attachment to it that the product's advertisers are presumably hoping I might develop to encourage loyalty to that offering.

MOL justs loves the chance for publicity ;)

There seems no point to make a programme critical of Ryanair, somehow MOL just turns them in his favour. There's no real investigation needed, all the bad things about Ryanair can be found out by reading their site. All we need is to educate people to read the small print, never assume anything is free.

I did chuckle at that comment. I have to say whilst I don't *hate* FR, I certainly choose not to fly with them. Call me a snob but the times I've flown with them it has been the other pax that I've found for the most part quite odious. If there was a discount PUCCI amongst the ranks of whatever dark hole of FT the FR fans reside in, I imagine the entire forum would be flooded with TFT... oh hang on, do FR planes even have a Galley or is there a vending machine and a Flavia sitting where the ovens are?

Upping the ante? After all, MOL welcomes any mention of FR. OTOH, it looks as though he won't get such an easy touch as on Watchdog.

The 'Why Hate Ryanair?" programme claims to provide an "cool, hard objective look" at the carrier as it becomes the first in the world to go completely online by eliminating check-in desks.

*The programme is to be shown tonight at 20.30 on BBC 1.

OT; Panorama Programme on now - Why hate Ryanair?

Well it has just started... just settling down with a glass of wine to enjoy it. ;)
