I think they actually said Visa Electron Debt cards were issued in the UK but not Visa Electron Credit Cards - didn't even know they existed!

Loved the quote from O'Leary at the end:
"64 million people flew Ryanair last year - which is more than watch Panorama or who watch the BBC." Dave |

If I want to go to Madrid from the UK i take a direct flight, not 3 stops via Germany just to use LH.

If Ryanair pilots were not given enough time to do flight planning (even though this is in reality a dispatchers job?) 45 mins is nothing like enough time for a thorough briefing for a multi sector day. |

in true ryanscare fassion it should be at least 50quid for your 5 mins work involving a few key strokes! !! |
I read all the correspondance between Ryanair and Panorama last night. It gave me little appetite to watch the show and from what you guys say that was the right decision;)
I actually felt sorry for MOL having to defend himself against continuous Qs from the production team. I have a choice to fly Ryanair - unfortunately I don't have a choice on whether to buy on a tv license if I want to own a television set and would prefer to see my money spent more wisely by the BBC. |

They don't. Just another example of the BBC's inadequate knowledge and poor reporting. And I defer to your better hearing. :)

They booked FR - using the license payers' money. Where did they go? The biggest FR airports like DUB? Any of the other regular aiports used by FR? No, Stockholm-Vasteras. Why? Presumably to get in the dig about the aiport being a long way away. OK. Then they took the bus to the city? No. The train? No. They hired a car! Oh well, it's on expenses, paid for by you and me. I'm pretty sure that if I went to Vasteras on a low price airline, I'd be taking the bus. @:-) |

I've just watched the unedited version of the Doorstep Interview
Very humorous; I'm warming to MOL - I'll have to try this Ryanair carrier sometime ;) |

Using BARB's figures , the average weekly reach of BBC1 is 44,184,000 Dave |
