I noticed at Novotel the other day that their shuttles to the city have an abbreviated route on the 8th and 9th due to "the review" downtown. I can't remember the name of the new station they'll take riders to those days. I'll call before leaving Novosibirsk the morning of the 8th and find out.
Would that time work for you? I'm thinking it will be pretty festive on the town that night. The earlier the better I assume.
