What a low rating!
Here in Seattle we have a participating restaurant with a 2.8!
Unfortunately, all we diners can see are composite numbers, with no written comments. The one time I attempted to visit The Bourbon and Barbeque Grill, it was on a Saturday afternoon. I arrived at their stated opening time (3:00 I believe), to be met with a sign: "We ran out of food last night. More expected shortly." I hung around the neighborhood for a while; roughly an hour-and-a-half later the sign had been changed to: "Drinks only for now". They dropped out of the program shortly thereafter (this was before the ratings scheme); I noticed they'd returned last month, but now with this rating ... Trichinosis R Us? Our sauce from the finest tin cans? An hour wait for the food?
Or could it be a few disgruntled customers with an axe to grind?

Sounds like you should be happy they couldn't serve you! I always wondered if maybe they didn't show ratings under a certain level, seems like I've never seen anything lower than about 3.7 or so ...

Yeah, but it "gets rave reviews from the Seattle Times",
.
Actually what I have always wondered is how the calculate the overall score.
The SEA bbq joint in question gets a 3.1 for food, a 3.0 for svc, a 3.6 for cleanliness and a 2.9 for value. And its overall score is 2.8? I mean, that is lower than all of the individual scores!
It's like getting all B's on your exams and quizzes, a C on the final then getting a D grade for the course.

I caught that bizzare math myself!
I intend to go as part of the current AA/DL promo period - will post a followup.
