Points Posting Problems September 10-16

Idine told me today that they were unable to post most points for the week of September10-16. I have four accounts and only one or two out of ten transaction posted. Points from this week are already posting. I had to fax in receipts/on-line card statements and so will most of you

Well, that's baffling, because I have three accounts that I used during that time (I have two more that I didn't use then), and had no such problem at any of them.

I had 8 qualifying dines during that period (1 at AA using a Juniper bank MC, 3 at UA using BankOne/Chase Visa, and 4 at NWA using both US Bank Visa and MBNA-administered Visa) and all of those posted fine, and just as quickly as usual. All these dines were in Los Angeles or Orange County, California.

Perhaps it's a geographical problem? (For example, they had data transfer problems from some regional credit card processor?) I'm guessing here that your dines were most likely in the Southeast where you're based, while mine were on the West Coast...

I had no problems either. All my dines were in Los Angeles and OC.

I have not had any problems either. My dines from the Northeast all posted fine.

I had a transaction on 9/10 that didn't post. I had thought this was an isolated case and I didn't realize they were having a global problem. (I am in New York). I sent info in my mail. Waiting for the post now.

I am in Los Angeles and I did not get two dines posted and was not on top of it on time. Therefore, when I went to buy a reward ticket with AA for 25,000 miles, I only had 24,550 in my account and I couldn't get the ticket. So I looked on Idine, saw that I didn't get two dines credited, called them, and they told me to send in the credit card statements and they would hope to take care of it in 7 days. That is no help to me, as my reservation will expire tomorrow and there are no more award seats on that flight.

In the end I had to buy 1,000 miles for $60, which stuck in my craw, but I learned my lesson the hard way. You have to know all the rules to play this game....

Based in FL here and had 2 dines from Sep 10th take 10 days to post instead of the usual 4-5 days, but it posted without my intervention. I had no other dines that week AFAIK

yes, it looks like they are going back to find those missing dines without any intervention. I just saw a posting today for a Sep 10 dine.
