Hi from Rewards Network HQ! Restaurants, bars and clubs adopt our dining programs for a wide variety of reasons, and all kinds of establishments are part of our network: from new restaurants that are just starting up to ones that have been booming for years.

Just wanted to add that if you'd like to suggest a restaurant to us, please click the Site Feedback link in the upper right corner of http://aa.rewardsnetwork.com/ or your dining program's site. Then click the link to suggest a new restaurant, and your suggestion will make it to the right people.

Ready to make your suggestion now? Just go to:
http://aa.rewardsnetwork.com/suggestnewdiningspot.htm

Thank you again for dining with us!

Best regards,
Elizabeth, on behalf of Rewards Network

Elizabeth

Thank you for giving us a moment. However, can you please give us the way it works between you and the restaurant. More specifically, the costs associated with joining your network from the restaurant owners position?

Thanks

Perhaps you didn't notice that this forum is called "FlyerTalk" for a reason? I.e., it's a place for frequent flyers. You can earn miles/points on idine by eating at a participating restaurant anywhere you may happen to travel -- not just in your "current city." Furthermore, you can earn by purchasing gift cards from participating restaurants.

Eating while travelling?

I understand your point.... however I rarely use AAdvantage Dining when I travel. Why? Well I typically find the network restaurants are not within walking distance of where I am staying; are not easy to access via local Metro; are not open when I want to eat etc etc.

I do eat out once or twice a week at home base and ofeten use a Network retaurant. I earn miles at about 20,000 a year with less than 10% while travelling.

I live in Allen, TX and I can tell you the Allen/McKinney/Frisco market is dead right now for iDine. That has significantly decreased my number of dines each year. Throw on top of it that my "elite" status still only nets 5 miles per dine, and I am far less willing to give new places a try.

I also sent new restaurant names in.

However, I would disagree with the part about only restaurants in financial trouble or in need of customers requesting to join this program. I would not consider Pizza Hut one of these. In my hometown of St Louis, MO, most of the places match the local place response. I will keep everyone updated if they actually add any of the places I submitted (about 20 of them).
I also e-mailed roughly 30 new restaurants, with web addresses and phone numbers. The response was that they would try to contact them.

Haven't had a new bonus offer since November, this seems unusual.

To update.. here is an email I received after contacting Rewards Network:

"Hi Mr. XXX,

This email is to advised that the 1500 miles that didnt get transmitted to the airline has been set to be resent. The airline liason advised they should receive it within the next 4 weeks and then will be posted to your frequent flyer account within 2 to 3 weeks after that. I will keep an eye on your account to confirm it is sent.

Please let me know if there is anything else I need to provide. "

Lovely.

Now that is weird. Kid of sounds like a stalling tactic. Like "the check was lost in the mail" or "the dog ate my homework" . ( months back my signup bonus posted in less than a month.

That is one looong time. I wonder if this means that all your dines will pass this, or if they'll be queued after it. In any event, it's difficult to sustain the term "loyalty" program.

Any idea why there haven't been any bonuses lately?

Was very surprised there wasn't a kick-off bonus for the new year, or something around Christmas, for that matter.

Anyone know if UA, Hilton, or any other Dining programmes are running bonuses?
