Radisson Alstadt - Salzburg?

Has anyone stayed at this hotel in Salzburg? I would appreciate any feedback on hotel regarding service, quality of rooms (non-suite), room size, meals (e.g., buffet breakfast, dinner),location, etc. How does this hotel compare to the Goldener Hirsch? Can you recommend a specific room?

Both are nice hotels in the "Old Towne", Radisson is a bit better. I would go for Radisson.

The food at both places is O.K.
Brandstaetter, outside Salzburg, is better, one Michelin Star: ....The dining rooms are the heart of this establishment. It's particularly comfortable in the pine room, a masterpiece of local carpentry. Do visit the wine cellars!.....
Spec.: Lauwarmer Kalbsbrustsalat mit Gemüsevinaigrette. Bauernente im Rohr gebraten mit Blaukraut und Grießknödel. Grießflammerie mit marinierten Erdbeeren....
