1st destination A340

Does anyone knows what the first destination with the new A340 will be?
I guess it will be JNB, RIO or NRT but these are wild guesses.
Anyone got infos?

I disagree. I think it will be Zurich to New York.

It was confirmed on the Swissair Group that the first A340-300 destination would be Dubai.

I guess these might be the easiest airports to park that ultra-long plane. I know for a fact that SR folks visited LAX taking measurements down to "inches", trying ot figure out how to pull that bird to the gates at Bradley Intl. Curiously, AFTER they had already order this long-tailer.

cesco, while Swissair did indeed order the A340-600, SWISS has only bought the A340-300, a plane in use with many other carriers already. I think every large airport can handle the A343.
