TK Miles&Miles
FlyerTalk has still no forum for TK Miles&Miles FFP so I decided to post this news here.
As October 29, 2000, TK started its own FFP. We all first thought that TK will take out all miles from Qualiflyer and put it into Miles&Miles for the residents of Turkey.
But I just watched an interview with the marketing Manager of Turkish Airlines and she said that this is not correct. Turkish Airlines is sending all Qualiflyer members who are residents of Turkey this new program card and they are crediting the exact amount of miles which they have on Qualiflyer Program. But they are not deleting any miles on Qualiflyer Program. Your qualiflyer account remains the same. That means TK Miles&Miles is doubling all miles which you earned on Qualiflyer.
TK is also matching Qualiflyer Travel Club Card with Miles&Miles Elite Card.
Qualiflyer Members who are non-residents of Turkey may also use this deal, I believe. If you have a Qualiflyer Card and wish to double your miles on TK, call a Turkish Airlines office and ask about it. But do not register as a new member. Ask for an update form.
New Miles&Miles pages on http://www.turkishairlines.com are not very good but good enough to learn the basics.

I received the new program card including full program info, although I am not a citizen of Turkey. Perhaps TK thought I was qualified anyway since about one third of my qualiflyer miles so far have been earned on TK flights. I am of course waiting for a TK account update, to really confirm that I have a "copy" of my qualiflyer miles at TK...

Maybe you can try having a PIN with your lastest Qualiflyer statement. It may work. (You need your last statement balance to produce a PIN for yourself on internet site.)
