Recently transited at DOH, landed at 615am (scheduled 650am) with connection at 745am. No wait at Al Mourjan garden but got the last available shower.

There is always someone at the Al Mourjan lounges, from memory.

That explains it. The only lounges I've used at DOH are AM and AS.

To be honest I don't find a lot of difference between the AM lounges and particularly the North Plat/Gold lounge. Usually on those 2 hour stopovers my priority is a shower, and I will have eaten enough on the flight to worry about lounge food.
