My QSuite flight from London to Doha on the 30th December has turned into an A380 Flight. It's not often I'd be delighted with an aircraft change from QSuite but I'm delighted as I love the bar. I do love the plane too.

That is assuming they reopen the lounge as all social areas on QR are currently closed.

So we’re 3 days away from the relaunch.

Can anyone who is travelling on the first few days of operation advise if the on board lounge is open and if anything has changed from how it used to be re drinks, snacks or seating?

I have a flight with Mum coming up in a months time and a she loves the bar but I’d rather change the flight to an hour later for the Qsuite.

Thanks in advance.

If only the a380 had Qsuites (and perhaps a nicer updated F) it would be the perfect QR plane

My first ever QR flight is in 4 weeks time in F on the A380. Unfortunately my connection is an A330 so no Q Suites entire trip, but looking forward to the A380.

I was on QR9 last night and despite the delayed departure the lounge was set up for drinks and open.

I was booked on QR4 on 15th December, didn't realise it was the first! I didn't go to the lounge but saw some heading back so assume that it was.

Does anyone know whether they are allowing upgrades using Qcredit into F on the A380 routes? I think CDG would previously have been possible (at least FRA was) but not sure now.

F doesn't seem to be particularly busy, judging by EF...

Except for DOH-LHR vv. the answer is yes.
You could use Qcredits for upgrading to First.

Starting Mar 27 looks like LHR twice daily will drop to one. Maybe a380 going to MAN?
