QR Status Match - Offer Ends 22nd May

I sent in my request for a status match on 18th May, received an email acknowledging my request on the 27th, and yesterday (6th June) finally received another email that my request was approved.
TK Elite status >> Qatar Airways Gold for those who are interested.
Not sure how much I will use it since I live in a SkyTeam hub from which *A has actually the best connectivity. Having also top AF/KL status I won't be able to maintain status over 3 alliances for sure - I don't fly enough (in premium cabins) for that. But I reckoned that even for the 40 Qcredits alone it would be worth it!
If more experienced QR hands know what the best way to use those points is I would be much obliged to hear! I'm completely new to the entire programme and have minimum knowledge. Using it to upgrade Y->J on a route like LHR-DOH-DEL seems to be about the max at 38 credits? Or just a single longer flight like DOH-AKL?

I don't have physical card for a long time already, guess the last one I've recieved was the Batman x Superman limited edition, which one I still use it today even though printed date says it has expired.
