QR Status Match - Offer Ends 22nd May
Qatar is running a status match to Silver, Gold or Platinum tier status, with the Privilege Club status valid for 12 months.

Request your Qatar Airways Privilege Club status match in two steps:
  1. Join Qatar Airways Privilege Club by visiting qmiles.com
  2. Email your last two months' statements and a copy of your frequent flyer membership card from selected airlines, along with your Qatar Airways Privilege Club membership number to [email protected], with the subject line Privilege Club Status Match"
Your membership status match request will be reviewed, and approval sent within 10 business days. To renew the status, the requirements are half the usual required.

This offer is applicable to top tier members of Emirates, Etihad, Singapore Airlines, South African Airways, Turkish Airlines, and Virgin Australia.
Campaign Period: 14 May 2020 20 May 2020.

These guys really do just hit the submit button without ever pausing and thinking about anything

I'm guessing either or both of:
1. It wasn't meant ot be live and someone mistakenly published it.
2. Someone published it and thought it a good poy, and someone else thought otherwise very quickly.

Reacher out and they deny offering a status match. Odd to have a page created and live for over 12 hours to then backtrack. Looks like someone mistakenly published it then?

Given what we have seen of internal coordination in the past I am pretty sure that my #2 above is not too far off the target here.

Honestly QR is almost perfect in the sky but on the ground they (generally) don't know their right from left.

More likely this Twitter person just doesn't know.
