But it´s never too late to "turn around" and "fight" to get back lost loyal customers and keep them staying ;-) , but let´s see ....

two of the main reasons I let my status expire were the continuous cuts to the benefits, every few months there was one, even passed as enhancements and the introduction of award fees that were not refunded in case of cancellation even for gold platinum, I became Platinum and gold especially to be able to use my miles in a flexible way and cancel an award for free.

I doubt they would allow general Plat access to Al Safwa, there are just too many. But they could give everyone a couple of free access voucher each year—like they already give some pointless lounge vouchers for the business lounge. Also they could offer to pay some amount of miles or Qcredits.

I'm doing a LGW-BKK in 2 weeks on QR j which will get me BA silver ( QR Gold ) and I only switched to BA this June I would need almost 3 QR J return flights to do this with QRPC
Suffice to say I think the QR flying experience is hard to beat

Also, does anyone here know if QR has a status match policy, like OW EMD on another airline to QRPC PLT?

If there has been no news by this afternoon, I will reach out and find out whether I can state them here.
