Qatar A350 @ LAX
Currently, at LAX, parked next to the imperial terminal (private jet area on the south side of the airport) is a QR A350-900. I can clearly see it from the UA terminal. Wonder what it’s doing here. Perhaps a royal flight? I was unable to get the registration.
I see QR 739 is operating normally today (albeit with a 77W sub). For all you LAX spotters, pretty rare to see a QR a350 at LAX!

No they don't. If an airline wants to operate such a charter flight they have to inform all relevant operators in the two countries it wants to operate between for a "non objection". Apparently no operator has objected in this case ... either because of lack of own capacity or (which I believe is more likely) due to political reasons. For football gods (and their massive publicity effects) everything seems possible nowadays. Remember that Lufthansa had even A380s available for the very same club in the past. Try to charter any aircraft from them - usually it will all be rejected due to lack of availability.
