American Award ticket - long layover in Doha
It will not be Qatar issed (127 stock) ticket but American Airlines (stock 001) ticket both incoming to Doha and outbound form Doha are on Qatar Airways in Business Class. Connection time is 18 hours (there is no earlier outbound flight). US passport.
Incoming around midnight. Outbound in late evening.
1) is it true that although both inbound and outbound is on Qatar in business class, one will not be offered a hotel as it is American issued ticket?
2) how long will business pax be allowed to stay in business class lounge? (all 17 hours or kicked out after certain hours)
3) how difficult it is to get a sleep room? is there a minimum/maximum connection time restriction for sleep room?
TIA

1) It is correct that both STPC (Transit accomodation) and +Qatar (Free hotel) are restricted to tickets issued by QR (ticket stock 157).
2) As a Business class passenger you are entitled to use Al Mourjan lounge for the entire length of your transit.
3) The sleep rooms in Al Mourjan are available on a first come first served basis. Just prior to the two major waves of flights at 06.30-09.30 and 23.30-02.30 the sleep rooms are very busy. Outside of those times they are usually available.
