Funny and sad. Being a QF FF loyalist I'm very satisfied. With Qantas in oneworld and in almost full partnership with EK I'm a happy chappy for the foreseeable future.

Hey folks,
Flew out of Beirut a couple of weeks ago and finally got to experience the premium lounge! The lounge is pretty nice when you compared it to the Cedar Lounge which QR used to send its premium customers to. It's very similar in layout to all the other QR lounges - as a matter of fact, the lounge told me that most of the staff got trained in other QR lounges around the world.
They offer a la carte dining (albeit a little limited,) champagne, espresso, etc. The food was pretty good - though nothing to wring home about
They had no showers, as this is usually not a transit station for the passengers - but a nice family area, and a kids play area. Also, I didn't notice any "quiet rooms" or sleeping area.
Safe tavels all!

I have a 01:35 departure to Doha in First. Is it possible to arrive at the lounge very early (4-5 hours)? I guess my real question is if we'd be able to get mobile boarding passes traveling BEY-DOH and subsequently DOH-DPS. We'd be travelling on US passports, but do have Brazilian passports also.
Or do we need to check-in in person, which would probably hamstring us to arrive no more than 3 hours before?

Sounds good. I can't imagine restricting this lounge solely to QR F pax is at all an efficient use of the lounge. I'd also open in to BA Emeralds as the lounge they choose to use at BEY is abysmal.BA are so cheap they don't even use the very nicely renovated new MEA Cedar Lounge. Any updates on QR BEY access? Is this still only OWE QR and QR F pax?

Hello all, any recent experiences of access as a oneworld Business Class passenger? I'll be flying RJ. In theory I should have access though I know Qatar tends to be, hmm, peculiar. Several locations don't let in customers of partner airlines.
