The fleet type codes such as 77P or 77K are what can be used to identify the type of aircraft under "Check Routing" on www.qrcargo.com. The aircraft type on QR Cargo is fairly accurate if you search for a flight within the current calendar month.

77N refers to both the QSuites and the 2-2-2 version. These codes refer to a capacity as opposed to a product. So for the 77N both products have identical number of seats in both classes so they use the same code. The 77I and 77P configurations have slightly different number of seats hence the different codes.

Could I get some help in understanding this, please? I’m very confused!

I’ve been looking at DOH-MLE (QR672) and MLE-DOH (QR675) for the last 7 days and these are the equipment codes for the A350 - also EF is showing up the Qsuites layout.

A7-
ALS
ALI
ALT
ALO
AMI
ALA
ALC
ALY
AMG
ALH
ALD

How do I figure out if any of these are actually Qsuite equipped aircraft? I’ve had a look at QR Cargo but I’m not sure if I’m looking at the right section as it just shows up the schedule and that it’s A350.

Thanks!

There are several ways to tell, including cross-checking QR Cargo against the list in the Wiki here, but in my personal opinion, the dead-easiest way to tell is to put the flight and date into ExpertFlyer and check the seat map. Or, if you are confirmed on a flight, check the seat map displayed in the manage booking tab on the QR web site.

Yes, of course. The thread in this forum that specifically discusses the Qsuite has many cautions and admonishments that QR is notorious for changing aircraft configuration, with no configuration certain until the aircraft is in the air (especially ex-DOH). Sadly, that forum is also full of surprised and disappointed posts from those who somehow missed all these cautions.

However, the post you quote was a reply to a specific question asking how to tell. The reply mentions an easy and reliable way to tell what is the current configuration.

Anybody know when the 380 is coming off the DOH-PER route?

Is it a full time thing?

Do any of Qatar Airways' A321s have actual wifi? I know that the main post indicates that some have WiFi/GSM. I have flown with QRs A321s in the past but all they seem to have is the messaging service, not actual Wi-Fi, so if anyone has any info that would be great

Alchemist007 the wiki on this thread says " 321H: recliners J in 2-2 config., GSM, AVOD, GSM. A7-AIA,C,D; A7-ADS,T,V" which indicates to me thar WIFI is NOT available on this aircraft type.

I am little bit confused about the BC seats in the A330-200. Here in the communication as well as in the Wiki it is stated "flat bed", whereas QR Twitter did state today " Seat pitch 60 inches. Width 21 inches and 165 degree recline ".
Can somebody confirm / advise what is the reality?

There's some inherent ambiguity in the way that we describe airline seats. A seat can recline to perfectly flat, yet still be a few degrees off horizontal to the floor. A "165° recline" could mean that the seat reclines flat but at a 15° angle to the floor. Remember, too, that larger, long haul aircraft typically cruise at an incline of 3-4°. So if the seat reclines flat and is parallel with the floor, your feet are still slightly above your head.

Thank you Dr. HFH.
As you fly frequently in and out BKK, do you have some experience with the A330-200 (in my case QR834) to share? I normally take the QR830 (Qsuites), but this time selected the later combination due to travelling with my daughter (11 month)....

All the QR A330s are fully horizontal flat--they are identical to the A320 flat beds. They used to offer 165" recline however, that was lightyears ago before their refurbishment.
