The fleet type codes such as 77P or 77K are what can be used to identify the type of aircraft under "Check Routing" on www.qrcargo.com. The aircraft type on QR Cargo is fairly accurate if you search for a flight within the current calendar month.

I have to agree. I've flown the 359 a bunch of times between BOS and DOH. I really like the J seating, especially the privacy in the window seats afforded by 1-2-1 seating.

Keep in mind that the seats on the A350, A380 and 787 are the SUPER diamond seats. QR currently has the diamond seats (not super diamond) on the A330 and A340.

Ah, I understand now. You can have the 2-2-2 seating; don't like it at all.

Does anyone know if the new 777-300ER SYD-CBR-DOH service will be using Qsuites or the 2-2-2 config?

I'm flying later next year and if its the 2-2-2 config I'll definitely be going with the a380 instead.

Later next year? Like a year from now? No, no one can give you anything more than speculation at this point. Too much can/will happen between now and then.

A7-BEN, just flew back from paint shop, then Qsuite fitted and I guess should be ready for delivery next month.
A7-BEM, just flew for paint. Hopefully DEC2017 we will see it flying.

With no B777-300ER needed heavy maintenance(?), shall it be safe to say that the retrofitted program on 77W can be continued?

2 new A350-900s ALS and ALQ - Wonder where the extra 2 frames will be assigned to? Not sure if any older 359s need checks/maintenance yet.

What about leases on LATAM birds? Read from somewhere that leases have been extended but not sure which frame and until when?

Can't wait for more info. Keep my eyes closely on routesonline.com

Would appreciate any insiders' info.
A7-BEO completed it's C1 flight a couple of days back. I would guess BEM and BEN have had the same, pointing to them entering service soon (hopefully). I'm crossing fingers they go on DOH-SYD-CBR.

In my opinion it's not appropriate that you write that the champagne served at the bar cost 100 pounds.

The aircraft aren't painted before they are delivered at the factory?

The older A320s without PTV will start to leave the fleet next year, the A330 fleet will be reduced as well. The A340s are likely to start leaving in the second half of 2018.

Just done Prague return on a320 with lie flat seats. I know many people are not keen on narrow body aircraft for j class and space is more limiting than say some of the wide body. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised with comfort and space within the cabin. I was luck that on both sectors I had spare seat next to me so no climbing over etc. IFE was good and service from crew excellent. Full marks to them on how they prepare meal service in the tiny galley up front with passengers passing through to use the toilet. I certainly would consider the a320 lie flat seta arc raft again for an ex EU trip

Any help is really appreciated.

I'm flying on 24th of December from Doha to Zanzibar and the plane is the Airbus A320 (A7-AHR) on flight QR 1351

Does anyone know if this flight will be with the old or new business class seats - flatbed or recliner??

Many thanks.

Luca

robotfood welcome to Flyertalk and to the QR forum. You will find the QR dashboard a useful tool.

If you look at the Wiki on this thread you will see that A7-AHR has B/E Diamond seat in a 2-2 configuration. These are flatbed seats.
Apart from A7-AHP,Q,R,S,T,U,W,X and Y all other A320s have recliners at the moment. In fact apart from these nine A320s and two A319s all other narrow bodied aircraft have recliners.

DatBoi it was suggested about six months ago that QR were considering fitting flatbed seats in further aircraft. Prpbsbly either the most modern aircraft or maybe even the Al Maha aircraft.
There is nothing official yet and I have herd no more so the usual "No one knows!" applies here.
Before someone asks: There is no way that Qsuites can fit a narrow-bodied aircraft.
