The fleet type codes such as 77P or 77K are what can be used to identify the type of aircraft under "Check Routing" on www.qrcargo.com. The aircraft type on QR Cargo is fairly accurate if you search for a flight within the current calendar month.

On the A332 I am assuming there are mainly flat bed, and appear mainly to have been refitted?

But yes....QR source confuses rather than helps on this occasion.
All A333s have the B/E Diamond seat, which is similar to those found on half the A332s and all the A346s. For reference, the seat looks like this.

The A332s are split roughly 50-50 between the B/E Diamond seat and the B/E Minipod seat, which is almost identical to the 777 seats barring a few minor, cosmetic differences.

Msn76-83 A7-ALQ A7-ALS 4/10/2017, on Flickr

Question: why isn't QR picking up their brand new A350s parked in Toulouse, ready to be picked up? These planes already had their CAF (customer acceptance flight by QR) and sport their finally registration (A7-ALO, A7-ALQ, A7-ALS).

And I'm pretty sure these would be useful to give some slack to the fleet as well as to replace the 77Ls...

Other airlines take delivery of their A350s a lot faster than QR which looks to me like QR is purposely delaying delivery of them.

QR does not need them at the moment as they rather have too much than too little capacity and maybe the found a way to delay paying for the planes making it cheaper to park them it TLS than in DOH

Has anyone flown QR70 - FRA->DOH recently?

Online it shows operated by A359, but seat maps show 2-2-2. Last time I flew this route and all the trip reports show the B/E Super Diamond seat with 1-2-1 config. Has it recently been changed to the A359M config?

It certainly seems that way. We are booked on qr68 and qr69 in the coming weeks.

our qr68 is certainly the latam version for us( which seem a shame from the fact qr obviously have the planes as the photos above show). Our qr69 is a bit confusing as to what we may get. On the Qatar app it is showing as the latam version but check my trip and myflights still show our original seats but just say unconfirmed now. Who knows what we may get.

we leave early November and return about the 19th if I recall correctly.

All booking sites show qr69 (for that date) as the latam version. It’s just interesting that neither checkmytrip or my flights have changed. From previous experience they changed before the Qatar app.

A7-ALS is on its way to Doha now as QR3359 (delivery flight).

Both A7-ALS and A7-ALQ are going home today!

Curious to see where they'll put them. Perhaps US routes to get a better and consistent product instead of the 777s? Looking at some of the destinations served by 77Ls I would guess LAX, IAH or maybe NRT.

I'm wondering if these 2 A350's are fitted with QSuite? Very unlikely but still wondering?

This is good news with newer planes keep coming to QR fleet despite current Qatar's political situation.

A7-BEL, newest B777-300ER with Qsuite is now in service, today operating QR7/8 LHR run.

A7-BEN, just flew back from paint shop, then Qsuite fitted and I guess should be ready for delivery next month.
A7-BEM, just flew for paint. Hopefully DEC2017 we will see it flying.

With no B777-300ER needed heavy maintenance(?), shall it be safe to say that the retrofitted program on 77W can be continued?

2 new A350-900s ALS and ALQ - Wonder where the extra 2 frames will be assigned to? Not sure if any older 359s need checks/maintenance yet.

What about leases on LATAM birds? Read from somewhere that leases have been extended but not sure which frame and until when?

Can't wait for more info. Keep my eyes closely on routesonline.com

Would appreciate any insiders' info.

The route is operated by one of the Latam A350s which QR is currently using.

The seat map is 2-2-2 in J.

There is a Qatam thread on the Forum -https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/qata...2017-a-12.html

I did notice on our recent Sake fare that some of the A350s have a bottle holder next to the magazine rack in addition to the one in the aisle-side seat armrest storage, whereas other A350s didn't. A minor difference but not sure why it's like that...
