I think when comparing EY and QR it is important to keep in mind that on EY you will get a pretty consistent J product throughout the fleet which is a big plus. The newer J on the A380/787 is an evolution of the older one so it is still consisten. On QR you can get anything from an angled flat (rare), to 1-2-1 with direct aisle access.
