Changing dates of A class ticket
I've got a return trip from LHR to SYD in A class on the mighty QF A380 coming up
But since I booked I want to return a couple of days earlier than planned. Has anyone had any luck in getting their dates changed on these types of fares? I don't really want to spend 5,000-8,000 for a one-way return
TIA,
thedavebloke.

Thanks thadocta (excellent name
) and og,
I bought the ticket as part of a "good deal" with Travelocity in the UK. Travelocity says that the ticket is unchangeable, but the telephone agents are often wrong and say this to get out of doing any work.
I just wanted to check if other people had experienced the same situation before I approached Qantas directly or spent another 7k.
Thanks,
thedavebloke.

If you purchased the GBP3000 1st class return deal, then no changes and no refunds are permitted. Use it or lose it
Also, if it is a special fare that Travelocity has, then the rules are whatever they say. Qantas directly will be unable to assist since it is sold by a TA
