Code sharing question
Hi all
I am thinking about booking a economy / business flight combination with Air France to Istanbul from Perth. As the Per to Sin leg is with Qantas (code share) and as a QFF platinum will I be able to check in at business counter and use the lounge?
Cheers

I'm assuming from your post that you are flying on an AF flight code on the QF operated flight?
Check-in in Perth will be by Qantas and yes you should be able to use the business class check-in. If you are on the QF flight number, no probs, if you are on the AF flight number, technically you can't, but I don't think they'd turn you away (as a plat.)
As a platinum you will also be able to use the lounge, regardless of which flight you are booked on. Technically speaking, if you were not a platinum, and if you were booked on the Air France flight number, then you woudn't have been entitled to lounge access or biz check-in.
However, as a plat you get 'anytime' lounge access so no problems.
Leaving Europe you will be in business class so will have biz check-in and lounge access.
