Code sharing question
Hi all
I am thinking about booking a economy / business flight combination with Air France to Istanbul from Perth. As the Per to Sin leg is with Qantas (code share) and as a QFF platinum will I be able to check in at business counter and use the lounge? Cheers |

Cheers I'm assuming from your post that you are flying on an AF flight code on the QF operated flight? Check-in in Perth will be by Qantas and yes you should be able to use the business class check-in. If you are on the QF flight number, no probs, if you are on the AF flight number, technically you can't, but I don't think they'd turn you away (as a plat.) As a platinum you will also be able to use the lounge, regardless of which flight you are booked on. Technically speaking, if you were not a platinum, and if you were booked on the Air France flight number, then you woudn't have been entitled to lounge access or biz check-in. However, as a plat you get 'anytime' lounge access so no problems. Leaving Europe you will be in business class so will have biz check-in and lounge access. Regards lme ff |
Many thanks
