Tickets valid more than 1 year?

Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy a ticket Oz-USa that's valid for more than one year (around 15 months)?

It for a student if that makes any difference.

thanks

When I have inquired about this in the past I have been told no - at most tickets valid for 12 months.

You'll find pretty much all the airlines will say tickets are valid for no more than 12 months. However, a fair few will allow you to extend the return portion for a fee.

A couple of years ago my brother bought a RTW on QF/BA from STA travel that was valid for 15 months because he was a student. When I contacted them they said the ticket was only able to be bought by people on working visas.
