The latest flight you could probably catch from BNE leaves at 5:50am due to possible issues with getting D passes in BNE or SYD. The earlier one at 5am would give you plenty of time (~2 hours) in the lounge to sample breakfast.
As for breakfast there - it is very yummy. And champagne or other drinks to match (evil at that hour though!).

I have just posted this on AFF too but.....
I notice that moa999 and DUF is on QF175 for the AGM. I was thinking I might fly down late Friday night (QF555 is still cheap) and catch QF175 back in the hope of a brekky at the FLounge (providing Aubs or DUF will guest me in?). What does one think of this plan and is anyone else keen on joining in. Mal, you know you want to?? The only thing is it seems a bit early but hey, I'm keen for anything.

Little footnote: Because of my job I can not say 100% for sure whether I will really make it. Tickets are booked and paid for but I might have to be somewhere on this planet.

At least it's easier to explain away to the check-in person a Fri night down, Sat morn back than it is to explain my recentish SYD-MEL-SYD-BNE Flounge run earlier this year She muttered "This can't be right" and was extremely puzzled. I just grinned and told her it was right!

I dont have a pass for QP (I am assuming that is the Qantas Club?). I dont spend much time on the QF boards, so dont know all your abbreviations.
