AKL-LAX will be operated by A330-200s (36J/201Y) 3x weekly from early March. 332s will operate QF25/26 services on TUE/THU/SUN.
Is that correct that the SYD-BOM will be 30J and the AKL-LAX will be 36J? And both with the same Y seats?

No. Both Aircraft will be 36J/201Y

These are already displayed on the GDS seat map availability.

The map in EF is showing an exit row at row 4, so that means 3 rows between doors 1 and 2 and then another 3 rows after door 2. So my assumption above regarding 3 rows of Skybeds in front of door 2 seems to be confirmed.

But EF is still showing A333 with 1 stop to BOM right through to May 08

QF are still updating the Northen Summer 08 timetables.

The best indciation that it is happening is that you can no longer book the Sydney - Darwin leg of this flight from February 08

Those floors are flimsy. The heavy feet of some FA's almost have you bouncing out of your seat as they march past.

Just a heads up some international A332 schedules have been loaded for next year the changes so far include:

From FEB1/08 A332s will operate direct SYD-BOM-SYD replacing the one-stop (SYD-DRW-BOM-SYD) A333 service.

From FEB/MAR08 A332s will operate 3 weekly QF21/22 services between SYD-NRT-SYD, and a few SYD-PVG-SYD services will also be operated by A332s. This means a mixture of A333/A332s on both these routes.

*From MAR08 A333s will operate all SYD-HKG-SYD QF187/188 services replacing the remaining B763s.

Schedules are still being updated/corrected.

So when the new A332 come in, they replace 8 weekly current A333 services (3 SYD-BOM, 3 SYD-NRT, 2 SYD-PVG). Qantas will then redeploy to offer daily A333 SYD-HKG. Where will the rest be redeployed. I am assuming remaining Hong Kong and Perth-Tokyo will receive A330 aircraft?

MEL-PVG (2 weekly) and MEL-AKL-LAX (3 Weekly)

So that keeps the first 2 x A330-200's busy.

Not sure when the other 4 arrive? Perhaps they will be used to replace some more 767 flying as well as ops to PEK?
