Probably better to throw in the full link to the promotion:

It's also advertised on the BA site. I recall it being mentioned here before too.

As a point of comparison the cheapest DONE4 fare is approx 2x this cost (but all sectors are in business class, not just one way) and earns approx 3x-4x the SC's. But an Australian-origin DONE4 is about 3x the price, so the SC efficiency is similar if you are constrained that way.

If you are travelling to Europe anyway, then comparing with a standard economy fare then its pretty good value. You get at least double the SC's compared with discount economy for less than double the fare, and you get to travel WT+ one way and Club World the other way.

But as number_6 says, the pure $/SC can still be better with a DONE4, but the outlay is more.

To me it looks fairly poor value . It looks like a AUD1450 fee to upgrade one way. ex-mel , during the period that the 3619 fare is available the TLUP1/TLUP2 fares seems to be available at 2149 .

I could be misreading the fare lists though

More appropriately, the TLUP1/TLUP2 fare you mention is very good value! Reasonable comfort for a reasonable fare. Sounds reasonable to me .

Thanks
