How fast is AmEx miles transfer to Qantas?

How fast is AmEx miles transfer to Qantas?
For any of you...based on your prior experience, ...when you transferred miles/points from your AmEx to Qantas, how long did it take? Was it typically immediate? Qantas website says allow up to 3 days for transfer. AmEx website says typically immediate but up to 1 day. What have you guys personally experienced?

Assume you're referring to non-AU based membership rewards (as Qantas is not an option for Australian-earned MR).

From Australian Amex to Qantas seems to be about a day. If planning to use just amex points to pay for an award, transfer to Qatar is, in my experience, almost instantaneous; fast enough that I was able to start booking and then transfer points just to pay
