A380 announced for SYD-JNB from July 2024 but can't book F
Hi guys,

Does anyone know what's going on here ?

F doesn't seem bookable for July or August 2024 even though A380 has been announced. Does it usually take a few days post announcement to become bookable or ?

Appreciate any thoughts or comments

If it’s not bookable it possibly means QF are not certain that they’ll operate the 380 on the route. They may operate the 380 but only sell Business - and 15 of those pax may be seated in the F cabin with J service.

Not selling F means can easily use a B787 on the route (depending on seats sold).
Paid F to JNB may not have many takers.
