My flight from LAX-SYD on July 26th (Wednesday) just changed to the old config. Not a massive deal for First but I'm one of the few that actually utilized the new lounge haha so here's to hoping it swaps back!

Just curious, how did you utilise the new lounge. Seems quite dark and a little squeezy? Its not a bar like EK/QR

It’s fine if used for it’s original purpose being IIRC a place for people with medical problems.

I find it a nice place to work on my laptop while being able to stretch out a bit

Now back to a refurbished seat map for this flight.

Unfortunately, my QF11 Sunday (12th) was a garbage unrefurbished A380.
The only consolation was my cheap AKL-SYD-LAX-LHR AA codeshare First Class fare with 5 month LAX stopover.

SW7London likes this.

Unlucky SFO777!

Should have still been comfortable for sleeping though? Thats the only benefit of QF F - nice long fights where you can have average/reasonable food but best sleep in the sky.

Good points SW7London. Indeed, the sleep was very good and the food was fine... when our cabin crew finally got around to serving it.

One funny note was when I asked our FA if it would be possible to get my beef as medium rare as possible. Without missing a beat. she replied "I'll do my best but we're not Emirates".
