But as SuperKirby wants transfer my MR points over to Qantas Aer Lingus will not a QF ffp option
SuperKirby needs to find saver availability on AA then may be able to use QF points (& surcharges?) for a QF award
Or better still, transfer from MR into a better ffp

Aer Lingus is an obvious choice imo since it flies directly from Dublin to USA especially since its taxes the journey are only about €80 with its fares-disguised-as-taxes being ( in economy) €18 vs €100 on AA and , in business, €18 vs €151
Total taxes in business is approx €80 vs €211 and €80 vs €160 in economy
A lot cheaper to use Aer Lingus than AA and why the question on airline being used was very impotant
If booking a ticket using cash, €927 is there with EI
