Emerald can access QF domestic Business lounges prior to departure of a oneworld flight.

QF Emerald (Platinum) can access QF domestic Business lounges after arrival of a QF flight; other oneworld Emerald cannot.

can Qantas Gold access the QF domestic lounge on arrivals too ?
If so does the guest need to fly too?
it is really nice taking a guest into the lounge (like someone who is picking you up) with Virgin gold.

No. Arrivals access (by virtue of Qantas frequent flyer tier) is only for Platinums or higher.

What is one’s entitlement according to the rules and what one can actually achieve with lounge access is often two very different things.

actually access on arrival is more generous. platinum can arrive on OW or MU or EK flight also... as per website

Access Domestic Business Lounges or the Qantas Club upon arrival if you have travelled that day on any flight with a Qantas (QF), Jetstar Airline (JQ, 3K, BL or GK), Emirates (EK), China Eastern (MU)or a oneworld® flight number on your ticket.

Hi there

Sorry if there's a straightforward answer elsewhere but was wondering if as a OneWorld Emerald I can a. access the lounge MEL after a domestic flight and b. if there's anything I can do with my hold bags in the meantime. Not looking for a free drink, just won't be able to check into my accommodation for a while after I land.

Many thanks in advance!

By the rules, then no - such arrivals access is not a *O benefit; it is a benefit Qantas extends to their Platinum elites.

See post #31 .

Will domestic J lounge access be available if I arrive into MEL on QF domestic J then depart MEL later that day on QF international J? No OW status btw

Generally yes, but because of your outbound, not your inbound to MEL (unless an overnight from PER). You will need to show your outbound J boarding pass (or ticket) (or, if applicable, your PER BP).

My reading of the access for the Domestic J lounge is a YES to the above.

I havn't come across that before.

I've always been able to use the domestic lounges before international *O flights from MEL/SYD/BNE.
