E-class on Red eDeals Question
Hi,
My admin booked me on a Red eDeal for SYD-BNE-SYD next month.
I'm a SYD based AA Exec Platinum.
In looking at the reservation on my itin, it appears to be booked into E class, which doesn't in AA/QF credit table or the the Alaska Air table
Based on that, I'm assuming this fare won't earn me any AA or AS miles?
Which leads me to believe I should credit it to QF (no status with QF - all my flights have gone to AA)...if I do this, will I still be able to access the lounges in SYD & BNE with my OW Emerald Status?
Thanks in advance!

Indeed, E class doesn't earn with AA.
I would suggest keeping your AA number in the booking until you get to the lounge and then have them swap to QFF after entry. That can help with seat allocation, baggage allowance etc.
You may need to do this twice with it being a round trip.

Yes, like others have said, 'E' class is one of the most standard economy class airfares and these airlines tend to be picky about which type of fare purchased. Nothing special for bronze QFF aside from the points or a few additional SCs. Serfty's suggestion looks your best bet.
