All attendees needed to supply QF WP with Scan of Photo ID, Full Name, Date of Birth & Full Address.

Rules to follow on the day:

The following are requirements for any visitors without Red ASIC’s to Brisbane Base Maintenance (H3)
  • Drivers Licence (or Passport, 18+ card) with photo showing details above.
  • Closed in footwear is required to enter the facility.

This is not something that you can just rock up to on the day. You will not have access and you'll be the only one(s) disappointed.

Would anyone be interested if I assisted in organising this event for Saturday 05 March 2016?

I can have a chat to the lounge manager in the BNE Qantas Lounge/Business lounge.

If we have enough people with Platinum status flying in that day that should be enough to cover most guest spots.

QF WP has been rather busy setting up a new company, transferring clients, organising new premises, outfitting it and various other issues, that will all start to settle down with the removalists coming in on Monday (after we pack up tomorrow).

I'll get in contact with my local QF Management contact who will also arrange the tour

It is also OK for me, subject very much to prevailing fares at time of confirmation of date. Current fares for 5 March are acceptable, a sale between now and then or <insert date> would be great, any increase and there is doubt.

5th March is fine with me - there's a sale that expires tonight where one-way MEL/BNE is $139 on QF and SYD/BNE $105.

Home golf club knockout is now on February-March. No longer in Brisbane the weekend of 05 March. Have had to book extra flights on the sale just finished.

Perhaps next year or the Virgin AGM in August?

Perhaps we should look at the 13th as being the last? 13 is the unlucky number, after all.........

I'm still booked to be at LRE on the next weekend.

Well, the sale finished last night - If we can decide on a date (5th March? 28th February?) then just wait until another sale.

Just sounding off that I'm a starter for the event in 2016... having just remembered that it must be soon, surely?

Should be some interesting lounge developments they'll be able to share with us this year... if we're lucky!
