As for the leather v fabric.
The top-picture looks all leather, the second picture only the headrest looks like leather.

Totally agree as someone who usually travels with my other half, but understand why they have done it also. The other option would have been a couple of honeymoon seats in the centre.

Thus there will be a true window seat, and then the row behind it will have the console next to the window.

The only schedule information published is Domestic from Dec 2014, and International from early 2015.
Whilst I would expect HKG and SIN to be the more likely to have the new product, I doubt enough planes will be done by Jun-15 to guarantee it on the routes (particularly HKG-BNE)

I have trips between SYD and BKK in March and May next year. I'm feeling safe in the knowledge that although the ticket says Qantas the passengers will mostly be supplied by Air Bogan and I'll be sitting in old J seats

So long as TG keep their old J seats on that run , then there's little reason for QF to prioritise BKK.
