Calling FF No. From Overseas using Skype.
Has tried this recently. It worked for me back in March from Bali. But now calling from the USA when I key in my FF no. all it says is can't recognise my input and there is no option to wait for the operator .

I have not done this very often, but when I have it has generally worked. However, once I had the same issue when calling the +61 landline number on the back of the card. (That was from Japan IIRC)

Try calling a non-Australian QF number. I have significant problems calling a range of Australian phone numbers using skype and getting tones to drive menu choices. It seems to not be a problem when dialling US, Singapore or UK.
One solution which has worked was patching in my mobile on a conference call using skype, getting through the correct inputs using mobile and then hanging up mobile but continuing with the skype call. There is a cost to this obviously, but it works.
