QF FF Bronze to Gold possible?

Well I just went straight from Bronze to Gold (I had over 700 tps, but had to do my 4th Qantas operated flight which happened yesterday). Quite pleased to see it is valid until end June 2014 (membership year is end June).
I haven't had an email or anything from Qantas saying well done (though I know it's not a huge achievement). Do they just send me a card in the post?

Just to be clear, it needs to be four Qantas or Jetstar coded (marketed) flights that earn points/SC's.
